Pyrite
Pyrite
Pyrite is considered the stone of prosperity and wealth.
Pyrite and its natural pale yellow color, its intense shine, its beauty and refinement always attract attention. Its name derives from the Greek word “pyr”, which means fire because when it collides with another pyrite or metal it emits sparks.
For holistic scholars it attracts prosperity and its energy is focused on money and success.
Moderately hard and dense, it is also brittle and can break easily when impacted.
It is also known as "fool's gold" because it has been confused with this valuable metal, although traces of gold can be found in some pyrites.
Naturally formed by iron disulfide (FeS 2 ) it must be kept away from salt, heat, humidity and sun, as it can oxidize and become toxic.
